Second Annual Track Day

Second Annual Track Day — A Day of Speed, Empowerment, and Brotherhood on Two Wheels

Our Second Annual Track Day was an unforgettable experience — a day dedicated to speed, precision, and the power of community. This event brought veterans together to trade in everyday routines for the raw, unfiltered rush of the racetrack. But beyond the roar of engines and the lean through every turn, this day was about something deeper — empowerment, camaraderie, and rediscovering the freedom that lives in every rider’s soul.

From the Grid to the Apex

As the morning sun hit the asphalt, riders suited up, jocked up, and rolled into the pits with one mission in mind: to ride hard, connect deeply, and challenge themselves in a new environment. The first throttle twist said it all — this was more than a ride. It was a release. Each veteran took to the track at their own pace, guided by professional instructors who helped sharpen skill, control, and confidence. The sound of engines echoed through the day, but beneath it all was a shared heartbeat — the same determination, focus, and discipline that define the warrior spirit. Track Day wasn’t about competition. It was about connection. Every lap reminded us that the mindset that carried us through service — courage under pressure, trust in your team, clarity in motion — still drives us forward today.

The Mission: Empowerment Through Adrenaline

At WIN, we believe empowerment happens when veterans are given the chance to rediscover their edge — to feel that adrenaline again, to test limits, and to step into a space that demands focus, courage, and presence. Our Track Day does exactly that. Whether it’s your first time on a race bike or your hundredth lap, this event strips away everything but the moment. It’s not about winning — it’s about riding free, finding flow, and reconnecting with a sense of purpose that too often fades after service. Throughout the day, riders encouraged one another, swapped stories, and shared lessons from the track. What started as a riding event became a brotherhood — a reminder that the bond between veterans doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.

Honoring Josh Covarrubias

Each year, our Track Day carries Josh Covarrubias in our hearts — a proud Marine, fearless rider, and brother to everyone lucky enough to know him. Though Josh’s life was cut tragically short by suicide, his energy, passion, and love for the ride continue to fuel every engine, every turn, and every lap we take. This event is more than a race; it’s a tribute to Josh’s spirit — his courage, his loyalty, and the joy he found in living life full throttle. Through this annual gathering, we honor not only the memory of our brother but the light he left behind, reminding us to ride hard, support one another, and keep moving forward, no matter the darkness we face.

The Community Behind the Throttle

The success of our Second Annual Track Day came from a powerful collective effort. Our sponsors, volunteers, instructors, and supporters came together to create an experience that blended safety, adrenaline, and heart. From the pit crew to the hospitality team, from registration to final flag — every hand that helped make this event possible played a part in something meaningful. We want to give special thanks to GH GrahamGroup 22Lieto Factory, and TrackDaz for standing beside us and fueling this mission. Your support helps us give back to those who have given so much.

Looking Ahead

This Track Day was a reminder of what happens when purpose meets passion. We watched veterans rediscover confidence, community, and the joy of living fully in the moment — one lap at a time. We’re already gearing up for next year’s event, and we’re taking it even further: more track time, more mentorship, and more opportunities for veterans to connect, learn, and ride free. To every veteran who came out — thank you. You showed up. You rode hard. You reminded us what it means to live with strength, courage, and purpose.

Until next year — keep your throttle steady, your head high, and your heart in the ride.

Thank you to all of our sponsors for their continued support of WIN.
